Introduction to Abaqus/CFD
Objective:
Abaqus/CFD provides advanced computational fluid dynamics capabilities
with extensive support for preprocessing and postprocessing provided
in Abaqus/CAE. In this course, you will learn how to analyze CFD
problems in Abaqus, as well as nonlinear coupled fluid-thermal and
fluid-structural problems.
The topics include:
- Incompressible laminar and turbulent flow
- Coupled analysis
- Conjugate heat transfer analysis
- Buoyancy-driven flow
- Fluid-structure interaction
- Deforming mesh ALE
- Postprocessig CFD analyses
Who should attend:
This course is recommended for engineers with experience using
Abaqus/Standard or Abaqus/Explicit. Some understanding of Abaqus/CAE
is helpful but is not required.
