Engineous' iSIGHT product has been widely used for several
years in the academic community. We have worked with a variety
of educational institutions who use the software in a broad
range of technical disciplines.
Professors have used iSIGHT in their research as well as
their curricula. Students frequently use iSIGHT to complete
class assignments and thesis projects. The information below
outlines who is eligible for the program and provides a guideline
for participation and pricing. Please contact

ELIGIBILITY
The Engineous University Program provides significant discounts
for iSIGHT licenses. The program is designed to support
the use of Engineous' iSIGHT software by university students
and faculty for:
- Classwork and non-funded research activities (student
projects, theses, etc.)
- Funded research projects when the funding comes from
noncommercial sources (e.g., NIST, SBIR, NSF, STTR). Engineous
reserves the right to review these projects on a case-by-case
basis.
- Funded method development and studies from commercial
sources.
- Special discounted pricing does not apply to design/analysis/solution
projects funded by commercial entities.
PARTICIPATION
We request that a specific university faculty/staff member
control the use of iSIGHT, and be our main point-of-contact.
The main faculty contact and selected students are eligible
to attend iSIGHT training classes at our headquarters in
Cary, NC free of charge on a "space available"
basis. We also ask that the responsible faculty member,
when requested, provide periodic updates on the use and
deployment of iSIGHT.
Any university requesting multiple iSIGHT licenses must
submit a curriculum development plan that illustrates the
use and education of the software.
PRICING
Engineous offers significant discounts through the academic
program. We charge a nominal annual license fee to offset
administrative and technical support costs. Contact

Engineous' iSIGHT Capabilities
Engineous Software has developed a software platform for
Process Integration and Design Optimization, iSIGHT. iSIGHT
allows students and professors to select the CAE programs
of their choice, such as FEA, CFD and their in-house simulation
tools to solve design problems. Using iSIGHT you can integrate
data from these codes and feed it to the Design Study Engine
which starts the automated iterative process of Optimization.
iSIGHT provides you with the capability to use DOE, optimization,
quality methods and approximation methods, which can be used
independently or together, depending on your design goals.

to their workplaces.
