& Touche Technology Fast 500
Engineous Software has been named the 178th fastest
growing technology company in North America. The ranking is based
on a five-year percentage revenue growth from 1995-1999.

& Touche North Carolina Technology Fast 50
At its 2000
awards ceremony, Deloitte & Touche named Engineous Software
the 7th fastest growing technology company in North Carolina.
Ernst
& Young Entrepreneur of the Year
Dr. Tong has
been selected the 1998 Carolinas' Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year.
The categories for the award included: Industrial Products, Manufacturing,
Consumer Products Manufacturing, Technology, Services, Emerging,
Wholesale/Retail/Distribution, Life Sciences, Supporter of Entrepreneurship,
and Master Entrepreneur.

21 Award
Engineous Software
received the NCEITA 21 Award for Corporate Growth. NCEITA is an
association that fosters quality growth of the electronics and information
technology industries in North Carolina.

100
Engineous was listed in the hot 100 fastest-growing new small businesses
in America. The criteria for inclusion:
- The founder must be
actively involved in daily operations and control 51% of the business.
- The business must
have been founded no earlier than 1997.
- Annual sales must
have exceeded $1 million in 1997.
- Companies must meet
the SBA's definition of a small business.
1998
North Carolina Tech 50
Engineous was
honored as one of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in
North Carolina. Deloitte & Touche LLP, Womble Carlyle, J &
H Marsh & McLennan, the
Charlotte and Triangle Business Journals, and the Council for Entrepreneurial
Development hosted the event.

NCEITA Awards
The North Carolina Electronics and Information Technologies Association
The NCEITA Awards are designed to recognize and showcase corporate
excellence and individual leadership in the electronics and information
technology industry across North Carolina.
The NCEITA 21 Awards
recognize corporate excellence in innovation, growth, and citizenship.
Seven companies are selected in each category from responses to
a call for applications and nominations open to all North Carolina
companies. Selected to showcase their technological depth, geographic
breadth, scope and diversity, they stand as examples of "best of
breed" performance in each category, and serve as role models in
our industry.
1997
North Carolina Technology 50 Awards
The North Carolina Technology 50 Award was presented to the fifty
fastest growing technology companies in North Carolina. Growth was
determined by the percentage increase in annual revenues in the
past three to five years. First year revenues must have been at
least $50,000 and $1,000,000 in 1996.
