Our Online Support System consists of a knowledge base of answers to questions generated from users about using the Abaqus FEA product suite. It also includes tutorials that provide you more insight into particular application areas. The database can be queried by topics, keywords or phrases and is available 24/7.

Academic Technical Support Account (ATSA)

Abaqus Research and Teaching Edition users are eligible to purchase support contracts. An Academic Technical Support Account (ATSA) may be purchased for use during your current license year.

Documentation

"Getting Started with Abaqus: Interactive Guide" is a self-guided tutorial based around a series of worked examples. It is an excellent resource for learning Abaqus if you are unable to attend a training class. The HTML version is included with each purchase of an Abaqus academic product. The input files used for the Examples and Verification manuals are also available at your site. Use these to become familiar with features in Abaqus that you have not used before.
